API TOURS was established in late 1999, relatively new, but we are supported by solid team who have been for years in tourism industry, to ensure that you our valued clients are handled by the right professional people to extend the high standard of services at very sensible prices. API is privately owned by Alwi Baria, an academician in social-politic with long experience as lecturer and tour guide in Sumatera, once led the biggest tour operator in Indonesia for couples of year, and is actually a generalist with good knowledge on history, socio-culture, environment and etc. He has been very active contributing his thoughts for sustainable and community-base tourism here in Bali .

API is the ground handling agent of Thomas Cook, one of the biggest Tour Operators in Europe to serve averagely six hundreds visitors per month to Indonesia in particular, mainly from Germany and Netherlands, visiting not only Bali, but also to other parts of our archipelago. Apart from these two nationals, we are accustomed also to serve visitors from other countries in Europe like Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Czech Republic, French and other continents like the US and Asia, figuring twenty percent of the above main markets.

Our base is in Balil as the world famous tourist destination, but we are not only promoting Bali, we have developed an extensive range of interesting products to the many exotic parts of our archipelago including Borneo, Papua, Komodo Island, and many others. For Bali itself we developed different products that not many tour operators offer, featuring Bali’s wonderful land, unique cultural activities and hospitable people.
