Tour itinerary
Day 01,    AIRPORT/ HOTEL IN SOUTHERN BALI - CANDIDASA
On your arrival at Bali's International Airport, met by our tour guide and proceed with a guided transfer to Candi Beach Cottage in the tranquil of Candidasa Beach. Rest of the day is free for your own leisure.

Day 02,    CANDIDASA (BL)
Breakfast at the hotel, then pick up and transfer to Amed at the eastern tip of the island. Today you will have snorkeling at Blue Lagoon. Lunch is included.
The Blue Lagoon is situated near Padang Bai's harbor only 5 boat minutes away. We will be diving both lagoons at either side of the harbor. The southern part of the reef drops vertically to 20 m and continues in a sandy area. The drop off is covered by hard and soft coral. Many nude branches and some flatworms can be found here. The underwater landscape is dominated by up to 4m tall growing soft coral where large spiny lobster can be found. When reaching the open water large schools of batfish accompany the divers. On the northern side the dive starts in 3 to 5 deep water. Either we will explore an interesting slope which drops to 30 m featuring plenty of  "fan" worms and feather stars, or we dive the sandy area while drifting between beautiful soft coral piles. A short distance a large stag horn coral field stretches 8 m of depth, accommodating oriental sweet lips, basslets and shoals of glass fish.
The Blue Lagoon at a glance:
Characteristics: gently dropping slope; Visibility: 10-35 m; Current: none to strong; Coral growth: stone- and soft coral; Fish life: big variety of reef fish

Day 03,        CANDIDASA/ AMED (BL)
Morning after breakfast departs Candidasa for Amed which is situated in north east Bali. Amed's villagers exist from salt panning. Arriving there you will notice the woodpiles which are used for this technique of salt extraction. The coral garden starts right off the beach breaking the surface with a staghorn coral field and huge schools of glass fish. This is Bali's best snorkelling area. The actual dive site can be reached by outrigger boat. The dive starts in a shallow area of 3 to 8 m in a wonderful coral garden. You may encounter turtles and bumphead parrot fish. A moderate current will guide you in approx. 20 min to the drop off's edge. One of Amed's drop offs drops straight down to 30 m. It is beautifully grown with soft coral and any possible species of reef fish can be found there. White- and blacktip reef sharks pop in occasionally to patrol their feeding ground. The highlight however is an area at 27 m of depth with a sandy field full of blue-spotted stingrays.
Amed Reef at a glance:
Characteristics: beautiful coral garden turning into a drop off; Visibility: 15-30 m
Current: moderate; Coral growth: large areas with stone and soft coral; Marine life: many species of reef fish, big chance for shark encounters; Highlight: large staghorn coral fields plus gorgonie fan coral growing up to 3 m of height. Overnight at Hidden Paradise Cottage.

Day 04,    AMED/ PEMUTERAN (BL)
Continue our journey to Pemuteran at the North-Western end of the island. En-route you will have a chance to experience snorkeling in Tulamben. The Tulamben Wall starts at a depth of 1 m to then drop straight to 40 m. Besides amazing coral growth this reef also features an unbelievable landscape sculpted by many overhanging rocks. The presence of smaller reef fish is abundant, with angel fish being the species worth mentioning. Besides emperor angel fish, yellow-faced angelfish and blue-banded angel fish can be found with the duke fish rounding out the selection as a member of the angel fish family. Quite often, huge schools of jack fish pass the wall, darkening the sun. Although it is a wall, this dive site is also suitable for snorkeling. The coral garden is only about a hundred meters away from our dive base Tauch Terminal Tulamben, which is located directly at the beach. The coral garden starts at a depth of 2-15 m and is wonderfully grown featuring stone- and soft coral alike. Besides numerous species of reef fish, the beautiful blue-yellow ribbon moray eel has found a home here. This dive site is also a superb snorkelling spot with none to moderate current.
Tulamben drop off at a glance:
Reef characteristics: drop off; Visibility: 15-30 m; Current: none to moderate (shark point to strong); Coral growth: many stone and soft coral; Marine life: many species of reef fish, specially angelfish; Highlight: easy to dive, also to be dived in the open water course

Day 05,        PEMUTERAN/ MENJANGAN ISLAND (BL)
Depart this morning to Menjangan Island for snorkeling.
Menjangan Island is a 1,5 km long and 500 m wide island in the  north/west Bali national park. The Indonesian government has limited the daily allowance for divers. All dive sites are only a short boat trip away. Except the western part of the island coral growth starts in shallow water, stretching out for about 20 to 30 meters before suddenly dropping vertically to a depth of 30 meters. The western end features a deep lagoon with a reef slope in a 45 degree angle. Currents at Nusa Menjangan are weak to moderate with the strongest currents present at the western lagoon. Therefore Menjangan is a perfect spot for beginners. Because of the beautifully grown lagoon, it is also an outstanding spot for snorkeling. Menjangan's underwater world surely deserves to be listed as one of the world's top dive sites. The  result of a coral count (carried out by diving pioneer Jacques-Yves Cousteau) stated that on this small island alone features more coral species than the whole Caribbean!
Nusa Menjangan at a glance:
Reef characteristics: Drop of; Visibility: 15 - 50 m; Current: none to moderate; Coral growth: absolutely perfect; Marine life: many varieties of small fish, occasionally big fish; Highlights: turtles, coral growth.
Lunch is included. Afterwards drive back to hotel in Pemuteran for overnight.

Day 06,        PEMUTERAN/ free (B)
