GENERAL INFO
TOUR ITINERARY
We do our best to keep the itinerary as it is during the operation, but there are conditions beyond our control, therefore adjustment may happen if we find necessary in concern of clients safety and comfort.
BEST TIME TO DO THE TOUR
Favorable times are during dry season, between April and October, but many of our clients still do it in November, till mid of the month. Track would be better during these times, not muddy and for Orangutan seeing, chance to see the Orangutans would be greater as they would play close to the feeding sites due to not much fruits in the forest during dry season.
ARRANGEMENT POINT
During the tour you might encounter reasonable or small unintentional delays, due to the fact that the areas are not yet well developed in terms of communication, services and other areas of life. Certain degrees of patience would be required, understanding and your ability to accept the situation in order to be able to enjoy the trip
WHAT TO BRING?
Comfortable sport or trekking shoes, sweater/ jacket, hat, sunglasses & other stuffs for sun protection, sneakers/ sandal, camera with enough films and battery, anti malaria tablets & other first-aid medications, insect/ mosquito repellent, binocular and your other personal needs.
If you plan to make purchases of souvenirs (Dayak tribal arts or valuable stones), you may need to bring enough cash of Indonesian Rupiah as Money Changer could hardly be found there.
