Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 LOMBOK/ SENGGIGI
Arrive in Lombok, met by your local tour guide and then transferred to Senggigi Beach, one of the famous beach resorts in Lombok.
Day 2 SENGGIGI
Today touring the island on 4WD Jeep, travel to the interior through stunning mountainous landscape, the ancient villages, over the mountain river, and along the forgotten valleys. Meet the friendly Sasak tribes as the original inhabitant of Lombok, and observe their way of living in the rural village. (B)
Day 3, SENGGIGI
A boat tour to Lombok’s famous sister islands, Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno. Gili locally means ‘island’, and these three gilis are clustered together just off northwest coast of Lombok, reachable about 45 minutes from Senggigi. The tour is with a traditional motorized wooden boat, about 9 meter long, 1.2 meter wide, with engine power 40 PK, small but quite safe for travelling as it is equipped with bamboo stabilizer on its both sides to keep the balance. There will be ample times snorkelling at the islands best snorkelling sites. (B)
Day 4 SENGGIGI/ SENARU
Depart for Senaru village in northern Lombok, is a green, fertile area and the gateway to Lombok’s sacred volcano, Rinjani. En-route visit Batu Bolong Temple on a rocky point and oriented towards Mount Agung in Bali. From here further northward you could enjoy beautiful scenery over Senggigi and its sweeping bays. Travel through Pusuk with stop to see local making palm sugar in traditional way. Learn about local culture in Senaru, and a guided walk to see the waterfall. Overnight at a simple guest house in Senaru (B)
Day 5 SENARU/ KUTA
Today travel to Kuta Beach of Lombok at the southern shore of the island, is a long drive via Sembalun village as the highest village in Lombok situated about 1.156 meter from the sea level. The area is cool and claimed to be the most fertile area for vegetable-growing in Lombok to supply nearly all the needs over the island. Stop can be made to see people on their farming activities. Further down with stops at Swela for terraced rice fields, Penakak pottery village, and Sade for typical of Lombok traditional village. Overnight at the peaceful Kuta Beach (B)
Day 6 KUTA
Free at own leisure to enjoy the beach (B)
Day 7 KUTA/ MATARAM AIRPORT
Transfer to Mataram airport. If time permitting enroute we may include visit to Sukarara weaving village and Banyumulek pottery village. (B)
