Detailed Itinerary
Day 1, LOMBOK/ SENGGIGI
Arrival in Lombok airport, met and transferred to your hotel in the famous Senggigi beach, western coast of the island. After check-in have a guided Mataram city sightseeing takes you to Mayura; the Royal floating Palace of the former Balinese Kingdom built in 1744, Bertais Market; the biggest and busiest traditional market in Lombok, Narmada; the summer Palace of the former Balinese King Anak Agung Gede Ngurah from Karang Asem Bali, built in 1727. Another visit before driving back to hotel is to Pura Lingsar built in 1714, is the oldest and holiest temple in Lombok, owned by both Hindu and Moslem Waktu Telu. Stay overnight at beach bungalow of at Senggigi Beach Hotel. (B)
Day 2 SENGIGIGI
Full day tour to learn more about Lombok culture and its people, takes you to Banyumulek; one of the many pottery villages where clay pots for every day use, simple in design and primitive in style are produced. Next, further on to Sukarare for Lombok’s traditional weaving, Rambitan where you will learn about Lombok traditional houses and their settlements pattern. Have a visit to the beautiful Kuta beach before transferred back to your hotel. (B)
Day 3 SENGGIGI
Another full-day tour with a traditional motorized wooden boat to Lombok’s famous Gilis or sister islands. Firstly, we go north by boat to Gili Trawangan, the biggest Gili and said also to having some of Lombok’s best snorkeling sites. You will have ample times snorkeling in Gili Trawangan before continuing to the smaller Gilis, Gili Meno and Gili Air where snorkeling are also excellent, but at these two Gilis we will only see the beach and visit fishing settlement. Day 4 SENGGIGI / AIRPORT
Transfer back to the airport for flight to onward destination. (B)
